(You're confusing "sent to" with "sent privately to".) 2) Rule 718 defines a way to leave the Jurisdiction of the Group. No other specification is required. 3) Rule 718 does not require the Vizier to remove the Player from the Group. Rule 718 itself removes the Player from the Group. ====================================================================== Evidence attached by the Caller: ====================================================================== Judge's Arguments: R718 appears to cover this situation, without any real room for interpretation: Rule 718/5 (Power=1) Resignation from a Group A Player who is a Member of a Group shall be removed from the Jurisdiction of that Group's Ordinances when that Player sends a message to the Notary and the Vizier of that Group, indicating that e is resigning from that Group. The Ordinances of a Group are not permitted to prohibit a Player from sending such a message. This Rule does not in any way prevent a Player from being removed from the Jurisdiction of a Group's Ordinances by other means specified by the Rules or the Ordinances of that Group. Murphy's argument on the issue of "send[ing] a message to the Notary and the Vizier of that Group", appear to be sound. Game custom states that messages sent to the discussion list are indeed sent to all the players on that list. And it is obvious from their further actions that both Murphy (the Notary) and Peekee (the Vizier of the Group) received the message from the list. So I judge the statement TRUE. ====================================================================== Evidence attached by the Judge: 1) Message-ID: 83c6467d.251929d-@aol.com "Various Business" sent by Peekee to a-d on 9/21.
