To endorse an office means to cast a conditional vote as follows: endorse the current holder of that office if any, or otherwise endorse the most recent holder of that office if any, or otherwise endorse the current Speaker if any, or otherwise endorse the most recent Speaker if any, or otherwise vote PRESENT. Endorsing an unspecified office in an election means endorsing the office for which the election is being held. A vote on a decision X of DEPENDS(Y), where Y is a proposal in the same or earlier distribution, is a conditional vote as follows: FOR if Y passed or received votes such that Y will pass; AGAINST otherwise. In case of circularity or paradox, ties are to be broken in favor of X passing. A vote on a decision X of CONFLICTS(Y), where Y is a proposal in the same or earlier distribution, is a conditional vote as follows: AGAINST if Y passed or received votes such that Y will pass; FOR otherwise.
